Sometime in 2008 or so, JJ Koczan (Maegashira, the Obelisk), Steven Moraghan (Maegashira, Grey Goes Black), and myself, (Aaron Lewis from When the Deadbolt Breaks, Buzzard Canyon), decided to a recording project at my studio. The basic plan as I remember, was to set up, jam, record and see what comes of it. JJ on vocals and samples, Steve on drums and I did guitar and bass.

Most of the vocals and samples originated from a handheld cassette recorder, and were later manipulated in my studio by analog effects.

We finished the 5 songs and did nothing with it. Recently, I upgraded my studio, and began digging through some old recordings. I found the Kemmler Standard recordings and decided to remix them, some effects and other fun stuff, and had juno-6 do some mastering. I figured this was the right time to release it.

I spoke to both JJ and Steve, and they agreed. So, here it is. Kemmler Standard. Now on Bandcamp for pay what you want. 5 songs of droning, bleak doom.
